Anyone seen this decidedly dodgy-sounding movie? Me and flatmate got three out yesterday. Our joint choice was Deliverance, I chose something called 'The Primer' (Pretty good but confusing) and he picked this Aussie Street Boyz. Sounds awful if you ask me. _________________ "Most medicines produce side-effects. The same is true of Cannabis, only these side-effects are political, not physical" |

The reviews i can find are all apalling. I think I'll duck out of watching it now.
Has anyone seen The Primer? its a really low budget film ($7000) about these physics engineer guys who accidentally invent a machine which 'freezes' time. They find that they can enter the machine during a window in it's revolutions and basically go back to the time the machine was turned on. Very confusing to begin with but thinking about it again today I really want to watch it again. Thoroughly recommended anyway (but prepare for absolute mind fucking confusion - even if you do get it straight away!). _________________ "Most medicines produce side-effects. | So, its Back to the Future in low budget? Don't know how many more of those time travelling things I can watch, there's obviously Back to the Future, there was also one with a watch that stopped time, but made the guy holding the watch age, then there was Quantum feckin' Leap!!!! |

I know there's a lot but this one is totally different. It sounds like it could actually happen, and the script (written by an actual physicist) doesn't mask the physice, so all the science is real. Which is different.
If that doesn't grab you then you could away and listen to my new bands' first ever recording

It's a bit rushed but overall i'm happy. _________________ "Most medicines produce side-effects. The same is true of Cannabis, only these side-effects are political, not physical" |

| Nothing like a bit of shameless self promotion eh GLC, had a wee scoot at it just there, very unusual for you, thought it would have been a lot harder from yourself, but perfect for playing away on my desktop as I type this... |

The last band was heavy stuff, I'm more stoned these days so figured a bit of a dance groove was more my thing. _________________ "Most medicines produce side-effects. The same is true of Cannabis, only these side-effects are political, not physical" |
